Ask The Passengers

A.S. King

Let me continue my love for A.S. King. I'd heard about her for a while without ever picking up a book of hers. What a damn foolish mistake. I've read two now and I can't get enough. Her characters are relatable in a very deep way. Her main characters and I have very few similarities and yet I could relate to every moment these kids faced. The feelings were all the same even if the moments were vastly different. King is just so good at reminding us what being young is like. And while I would never want to be young again there is something comforting and yet somehow exhilarating about reliving it again through books. And I have to say King writes about female friendships better than anyone. Always realistic in its portrayal.
